Modpack Install Guide — MultiMC / Prism Launcher
Requirements
- MultiMC or Prism Launcher installed
- Java 17 or newer
- Wild Rose Transit Authority modpack zip file
- At least 4GB RAM allocated to Minecraft
Step-by-Step Instructions
Copy the Modpack URL
Copy the Wild Rose Transit Authority modpack download link:

Open MultiMC / Prism Launcher
Launch MultiMC or Prism Launcher on your computer.
Add Instance → Import from Zip
Click Add Instance in the top toolbar. In the dialog that appears, select the Import from zip tab on the left side.
Paste the Download URL
In the URL field, paste the modpack download link:
https://mods.wild-rose-gaming.com/Wild-Rose-Transit/Wild-Rose-Transit-Authority.zip
MultiMC/Prism will download and import it automatically.
Name Your Instance & Import
Give the instance a name (e.g. Wild Rose Transit Authority) and click OK. It will download and configure everything automatically.
Allocate Memory
Right-click the new instance → Edit Instance → Settings → Java. Set Maximum memory allocation to at least 4096 MB (4GB). 6GB+ recommended for best performance.
Launch & Play
Double-click the instance to launch. Once Minecraft loads, add the server:
Server Address: mc.wild-rose-gaming.com
Automatic Mod Updater
The modpack includes a built-in mod updater that runs automatically before Minecraft launches. It keeps your mods up to date without any manual work.
How It Works
Every time you launch the instance, the updater checks our server for new mod versions. If updates are available, it downloads them automatically before the game starts.
What It Does
• Checks mods.wild-rose-gaming.com for the latest mod versions
• Downloads new/updated mods automatically
• Removes outdated mod versions from your folder
• Adds the Wild Rose Gaming server to your server list on first run
• Shows a progress window while updating, then launches the game
No Action Needed
You don't need to do anything — the updater is already included in the modpack and configured as a pre-launch command. Just hit play and it handles the rest.
The updater window shows all available mods with version dropdowns. You can select a specific version if needed, or leave everything on "latest" (recommended).
Troubleshooting
Make sure you have Java 17+ installed and at least 4GB RAM allocated. Some modpacks require 6-8GB for smooth gameplay.
Make sure you're importing the original zip file — don't extract it first. If the download was interrupted, try downloading the zip again.
Ensure your MultiMC/Prism Launcher is up to date. Older versions may not support the modpack format correctly.
